Meet Our Pastors

Senior Pastor

Gentry and Alexis Mangun

Gentry has been involved in various areas of ministry at The Pentecostals most of his life.  In 2004 he acknowledged a call to ministry and began pulpit ministry in addition to his other leadership roles at The Pentecostals of Alexandria.  He currently serves as Senior Pastor.

Anthony & Mickey Mangun

Anthony Mangun grew up in Alexandria, Louisiana, where his parents led The Pentecostals of Alexandria. After graduating from local schools and studying at Bible colleges, he became a full-time evangelist and later pastored in Texas. In 1981, he returned to Alexandria to co-pastor with his father and now serves as Bishop of The Pentecostals of Alexandria.

Andrew & Danielle Cox

Andrew became a member of The Pentecostals of Alexandria when his family moved here in 1998. After graduating high school he chose to attend Louisiana Tech University. He received a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. Following nearly 6 years of accounting work Andrew joined the staff at The Pentecostals of Alexandria in 2012 as Student Pastor.

Assistant Pastor

Ryan & Angie Franklin

Ryan Franklin rejoined The Pentecostals of Alexandria in 2005 as an assistant to the Pastors after serving in Alexandria, Virginia. He is now the Assistant Pastor, overseeing adult ministries like The Discover Path, POA Life Classes, and Kingdom Life Sunday School. He also supports world missions through overseas evangelism.

Gary & Sharon Maxwell

Gary and Sharon Maxwell, Executive Pastor Executive Pastor Gary Maxwell joined the staff at The Pentecostals of Alexandria in October 1996. He is responsible for campus operations, financial/legal administration, human resources, guest relations, and information technology.

Garen & Barbara Stanley

Garen and Barbara lead REFUGE Student Ministries with energy and passion. They care deeply about reaching local students with the love and message of Jesus, and they also prioritize being dedicated parents to their three children, Kylen, Gunner, and Oaklyn.
