POA loves babies – and our kids! Age-appropriate programs designed to nurture our children and help them achieve their full potential as followers of Christ define POA’s Children’s Ministry.
It is divided into two major age-specific categories: Wonderland is our nursery/childcare for children from 6 weeks to 3 years of age.
POA Kids is our Wednesday night ministry for children aged 3 thru 5th grade.
Welcome to Wonderland, where we get the joy of loving on and caring for the littlest members of our POA family! Our nursery welcomes children from 6 weeks through 36 months and is available during every Sunday morning and Wednesday night service.
Wonderland is divided into two age-appropriate classes:
Littles | 6 weeks–18 months- A sweet, nurturing environment where our youngest little ones are cared for with lots of love and attention.
Bigs | 19–36 months - A fun and engaging environment where our growing toddlers can learn, play, and experience God’s love in age-appropriate ways.
3-Year-Olds
Once children turn 3, they move into our 3-year-old class, where they begin taking the next step in their Sunday School experience.
Sunday Mornings: Our 3-year-old Sunday School class meets in the Family Life Center from 9:00-9:50. From 9:55- the end of our Worship Service, we meet in the Wonderland wing .
Wednesday Nights: Our 3-year-old class is offered in the GAMC during Wednesday night service.
POA KIDS, under the leadership of John and Amber Eskew, employs a comprehensive program focusing on teaching and reinforcing simple Biblical principles. Ideas are presented in kid-friendly ways and in a kid-friendly environment. This combination makes the lessons easy to understand and to remember. You will be delighted at what transpires when the Word of God is sown into the lives of your POA Kids.
To register your child for POA Kids, simply come to the FLC (Family Life Center):
